Article 1 – General

B-Pac BV (hereinafter "B-Pac," "we," or "us") places great importance on the protection of your personal data and your privacy.

We handle and protect your data carefully, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy legislation.

This statement applies to our website, webshop, email communication, social media channels, and all interactions between you and B-Pac. By using our services or visiting our website, you agree to this privacy statement.

Article 3 – Collected Personal Data

B-Pac only collects personal data that is necessary for the execution of our services.

This may include the following information:

  • Name, first name, and contact details (address, email address, phone number);
  • Company information and VAT number (if applicable);
  • Billing and payment information;
  • Order and purchase history;
  • Communication with our customer service;
  • Technical data (such as IP address, browser, device during website visit);
  • Cookie data (see article 9).

We only collect data that you provide to us or that is automatically collected when you use our website and webshop.

Article 4 – Purposes of Data Processing

B-Pac processes your personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • Processing and executing orders and deliveries;
  • Preparing quotes and invoices;
  • Customer management, warranty processing, and after-sales service;
  • Legal obligations (accounting, taxation, warranty);
  • Improvement of our website, webshop, and customer experience;
  • Online marketing and communication, including:
    • advertisements via Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads;
    • management of social media channels;
    • email marketing (newsletters and offers) via the Odoo platform.

Email marketing is conducted exclusively to customers or contacts who have subscribed, or to existing customers with a legitimate interest.
Each mailing contains a clear unsubscribe link, allowing you to easily unsubscribe at any time. If you have received our newsletter by mistake without signing up, this was of course unintentional — for which we sincerely apologize in advance.

B-Pac does not share personal data directly with Meta, Google, or other advertising platforms. Any advertisements are based on anonymous or aggregated data (such as website visits).

Your personal data is not sold or rented, and is only shared with:

  • logistics partners (such as GLS) for order delivery;
  • accounting or IT service providers that support B-Pac;
  • Odoo, which offers our email marketing software and acts solely as a processor in accordance with GDPR regulations. Processor agreements have been concluded with all external parties that protect your data.

Article 5 – Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of personal data is always based on one of the following legal grounds:

  • the execution of an agreement or order;
  • compliance with legal obligations;
  • your consent (for example, for email marketing or cookies);
  • the legitimate interest of B-Pac (such as customer management or marketing to existing customers).

Article 6 – Retention Period

B-Pac does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Billing and purchase data are kept as long as legally required (minimum of 7 years). Marketing and contact details are removed or anonymized as soon as they are no longer relevant or when you unsubscribe.

Article 7 – Data Security

B-Pac takes all reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure. Only authorized personnel have access to your data.

Article 8 – Rights of the Data Subjects

You have the right at all times to:

  • to view your personal data or to receive a copy;
  • to have incorrect or incomplete data corrected;
  • to have your data deleted (“right to be forgotten”), as far as legally permitted;
  • to object to processing or use for direct marketing;
  • to have your data transferred to another party (“right to data portability”).

You can exercise these rights by sending an email to info@b-pac.be. We handle each request within 30 days.

Article 9 – Cookies

Our website uses cookies to enhance your user experience and analyze traffic. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your device when you visit our website.

We use the following cookies:

  • Necessary cookies: for the basic functioning of the website (shopping cart, sessions).
  • Functional cookies: remember your preferences.
  • Analytical cookies: collect anonymous data about website usage (e.g., via Google Analytics).
  • Marketing cookies: are only placed with your consent and help tailor advertisements to your interests.

Article 10 – Social Media

B-Pac is active on Facebook and Instagram (Meta). When you communicate with B-Pac through these platforms (such as via messages or comments), your data is processed according to the privacy terms of the respective platform. B-Pac only processes the information necessary to respond to your inquiry and does not share any data directly with Meta or other parties.

Article 11 – Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to external websites. B-Pac is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these websites. Always consult their own privacy policy.
